Salt & Stone writers announced
At the end of 2025 we closed our submission window for the next anthology in the series of short stories from Cornish writers - called Cornwall Salt & Stone in 2026.
Salt & Stone is a anthology that seeks to capture the raw essence of Cornwall - its weathered coastlines, tight-knit communities, quiet storms, and enduring beauty. Our call was for fiction that explored what it means to endure: people shaped by isolation, erosion, tradition, change, or the power of place, and we were overwhelmed with the response.
The quality of writing was incredible and we notified our longlisted writers at the end of January. We have now notified our short listed writers and will be working on their stories to prepare the anthology for publication in late April this year.
