Catrina Davies
Author
Catrina Davies was born in Snowdonia and grew up around Land's End, in Cornwall. She is the author of Fearless, an account of busking from Norway to Portugal, and Homesick, an acclaimed personal account of the UK housing crisis, grappling with class, economics, mental health and nature.
Her first book Fearless, a tale of female courage and discovery, is a memoir about a woman struggling to make sense of death and in the process transmuting grief into meaning.
Her second book Homesick about life in a shed, was longlisted for the Baillie Gifford Prize. And her third book, Once Upon a Raven’s Nest is a genuinely captivating tale of rural-lore – told through the thrilling narrative of one man’s life; a good ol’ country boy, a right character whose scraps and scrapes litter the pages.
Catrina is also a singer-songwriter and DJ
